Great Wall Motors announced today that the sales volume in January 2024 was 104,030 units, a year-on-year increase of 69.06%; the production volume was 95,873 units, a year-on-year increase of 74.8%.
Haval brand: This month’s sales were 59,103 units, compared to 39,192 units in the same period last year, an increase of 50.80%; WEY brand: This month’s sales were 3,351 units, compared to 1,056 units in the same period last year, an increase of 217.33%; Great Wall Pickup: This month’s sales were 15,466 units, compared to 11,680 units in the same period last year, an increase of 32.41%; ORA brand: This month’s sales were 6,001 units, compared to 3,676 units in the same period last year, an increase of 63.25%; Tank brand: This month’s sales were 20,067 units, compared to 5,915 units in the same period last year, an increase of 239.26%; Others: This month’s sales were 42 units, compared to 16 units in the same period last year, an increase of 162.50%. It is worth mentioning that Great Wall Motors also sold 26,374 units overseas in January, and sold 25,030 new energy vehicles in January.
According to IT Home, Great Wall Motors sold a total of 1,230,704 vehicles in 2023, an increase of 15.29% year-on-year. All five major brands under its umbrella have successfully expanded overseas, with overseas annual sales exceeding 300,000 vehicles for the first time.
