In response, Xia Yiping explained on Weibo that the price of Xpeng 07 was not mentioned in today’s live broadcast, but the price of Xpeng 01 is 219,900 yuan (30910$). Xia Yiping stated that Xpeng 07 will definitely be launched and delivered this year, and more information will be announced after the Spring Festival.
The official images of this car have been released earlier, but there is still very limited information about it online. Before this new car was named “Extreme 07”, it was called “Extreme 02” or “Jidu ROBO-02”, with the internal code name “Venus”, positioned as a pure electric coupe.
There is currently no more information available on the power and configuration. The existing JY 01 Max model is equipped with rear-wheel drive single motor, with a maximum output power of 200 kW and a maximum torque of 343 N·m. It is equipped with a 71.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, with a CLTC driving range of 550 km; optional 100 kWh ternary lithium battery with a CLTC driving range of 720 km. The current JY 01 has 3 configurations available, with the JY 01 Max retailing at 21.99 million yuan, the model with the “extended range upgrade package” retailing at 25.49 million yuan, and the JY 01 Max Performance model retailing at 30.99 million yuan. Xia Yiping revealed earlier this year that he is preparing for the launch of the second product. The acceleration, range and current JY 01 are similar, but the software will be quite different. According to IT Home’s previous report, as early as 2022, the JY 07 appeared as the “JiDu ROBO-02”. It features 4 electric doors with silent closing, and can be opened in various ways including through voice and Bluetooth. The overall design of the car is rounded, with smooth contours, and the lift-back design at the rear adds a touch of sportiness.
