On February 12th, IT Home discovered the presence of the Yema U7 model in the new list of new energy vehicle models eligible for vehicle purchase tax exemption released earlier this month.
The U7 electric car, positioned as a pure electric sedan, will offer two models. The QCJ7000BTBEV2 model has a range of 720km, the QCJ7000BTBEV1 model has a range of 800km, both with a total weight of 3095kg and equipped with a 135.5kWh power battery pack. The new car has been previously announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, adopting the “Time and Space Gateway” family language, with a long and sharp front face and slightly raised ribs on the front hood, and the headlights on both sides are called “Interstellar Crossing Headlights”.
BYD officially calls this new car the “million-level new energy flagship sedan,” which is also the first sedan of the Yungao brand. The car is said to have “over a thousand horsepower,” with innovative aerodynamic design and Easi 4.0 technology, and a drag coefficient of 0.195Cd. The declaration information shows that the Yungao U7 has dimensions of 5265x1998x1517mm and a wheelbase of 3160mm. The car comes standard with a panoramic sunroof and electric tail wing, and optional features include streaming media rearview mirrors, different colored calipers, and wheel styles. In terms of power, the car will be equipped with four 240kW motors. Currently, BYD has not yet announced the specific launch time for this new car, and IT Home will continue to follow up and report.
