On April 1, 2024, the all-new TSN N7 was officially launched. It is a redesigned model of the old TSN N7, with optimized exterior, upgraded comfort features, intelligent driving functions, and chassis. The powertrain continues to use single or dual motor four-wheel drive system, and a single motor entry-level model is also available. There are a total of 4 models with prices ranging from 23.98 to 32.98 million yuan.
The all-new TSN N7 retains the family π-Motion design language, incorporating many design concepts from the INCEPTION concept car, but with some adjustments. Specifically, the N7 eliminates the “mustache” style daytime running light strip from the previous model’s grille, replacing it with a more mainstream horizontal leaf-shaped light strip that complements the front headlights for a more harmonious visual appearance.
The lower bumper has been simplified in design, with a closed grille commonly used in new energy vehicle models to improve visual aesthetics and optimize aerodynamic drag coefficient. The lower part features a smoked trapezoidal grille, flanked by triangular side grilles, further extending the visual width of the vehicle and enhancing its sporty character compared to the old models. In terms of details, the laser radar is located at the fog lamp cover, using high-gloss black plastic material to integrate the laser radar with the front face, enhancing the overall sense of the vehicle.
The all-new model comes in a new Seaside Blue color, with a sleek SUV design that exudes sportiness. The addition of hidden door handles helps reduce wind resistance, while the sloping roofline enhances the dynamic effect. The dimensions of the new car are 4860/1935/1602mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2940mm.
The rear end design remains unchanged, with arrow-shaped taillights, large hollowed-out rear wing, and segmented diffuser showcasing the SUV’s imposing presence. The new Tengshi N7 features a new dual-color 7-spoke semi-enclosed wheel hub and a rare suspended badge, significantly enhancing its premium feel.
The all-new TSN N7 continues the current model’s interior design style, featuring a floating 17.3-inch central control screen and symmetrical dual 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel on both sides, enhancing the sense of technology. In terms of details, the old model’s left and right side air vent touch panels have been removed, and a multimedia screen has been added at the rear center armrest.
In terms of intelligent cockpit, the all-new Tang N7 is equipped with the Tang Dink intelligent car system, supporting four-zone voice recognition wake-up, visible and speakable, facial recognition, 5G network, app store, in-car KTV, and mobile app remote control. In addition, a meditation mode has been added, as well as dozens of functions such as intelligent voice multi-car connectivity, trip assistant, car encyclopedia, personalized information, and more.
In terms of comfort configuration, the new car continues to be equipped with panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, 56-inch AR-HUD head-up display, standard Diwali sound system, dual wireless charging areas, multi-color intelligent ambient lighting, 5D cloud sense ergonomic seats, full vehicle premium Nappa leather, suede roof, crystal gear lever, ion active fragrance system, etc. Added features include electric four-way steering wheel adjustment, streaming media rearview mirror, automatic anti-glare exterior mirrors, heated, ventilated, massage rear seats, electric adjustment, and one-touch folding.
In terms of intelligent driving assistance, the self-developed “God’s Eye” advanced intelligent driving assistance system includes 33 sensors and 254 TOPS computing power intelligent driving chips, such as high-perception long-range high-precision dual LiDAR, high-precision millimeter-wave radar, and an 8 million pixel front camera. It can achieve functions such as actively changing lanes to overtake slow vehicles, actively decelerating when encountering merging vehicles, actively avoiding construction sections, intelligently changing lanes to enter and exit highways, and smoothly passing through large curved bends, ensuring zero intervention throughout the entire process.
The all-new Tengshi N7 features front double wishbone independent suspension + rear five-link independent suspension, equipped with FSD variable damping suspension, with a series of black technology such as iADC intelligent drift control system, iCVC intelligent vector control system, CTB battery vehicle integration technology, battery pulse self-heating technology. The high-end model’s Cloud Chariot-A intelligent air suspension control system has been upgraded from single chamber to double chamber. Through Cloud Chariot’s precise sensing technology, the Cloud Chariot Intelligent Calculation Center makes rapid decisions, outputs precise control strategies, controls the air springs exhaust and dampers electromagnetic valves to adjust height, damping, achieving dynamic adjustment of vehicle control, enhancing vehicle handling.
The all-new Tengshi N7 continues to be based on the e-platform 3.0, with an eight-in-one electric powertrain. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 230kW, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version has a maximum power of 390kW. It is equipped with a 91.392kWh power battery and offers two optional versions of range: 702km for the two-wheel drive version and 630km for the four-wheel drive version. The all-new Tengshi N7 also introduces a model with a single-motor power system featuring the TZ200XYS motor, with a maximum power of 170kW and a top speed of 210km/h.
The all-new Tengshi N7 is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack with a capacity of 91.3 kWh or 71.8 kWh, supporting dual-gun fast charging technology. The maximum charging power of a single gun is 150 kW, and the maximum charging power of dual guns is 230 kW, allowing it to achieve a range of 350 km in 15 minutes and a range of 100 km in 4 minutes. It also supports a maximum external discharge power of 6 kW.
